GIWW TO SHOW RAPID TEMPERARTURE CYCLING (RTC™) EQUIPMENT & EXAMPLES AT
INTERPLAS 2008 HALL 4 STAND B255 SEPTEMBER 15TH TO OCTOBER 2ND

GIWW will be showing control equipment and moulded examples of Rapid Temperature Cycling (RTC™) for only the second time in the UK at Interplas 2008.  The event will be taking place at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre from September 30th to October 2nd and GIWW will be in Hall 4 on stand B255. RTC™ is achieving spectacular benefits of improved surface finish including high gloss and elimination of weld and flow lines.  Filled materials can be moulded with resin rich surfaces of unfilled material quality.  In mould pressures are reduced and flow paths extended. Paint finishing can often become unnecessary.

GIWW is offering four alternative temperature cycling methods of heating the mould cavity:

▪ Steam at temparatures up to 180°C
▪ Induction Heating of the mould surface internally or externally
▪ Hot Water at temparatures up to 160°C
▪ Hot  Oil at temperatures up to 350°C

The RTC™ version of temperature cycling of moulds has been developed in the UK in collaboration with GIWW’s associated company Oxford Moulding Technology Limited (OMT) which has benefited from technology contributions from the Universities of Oxford and Swansea.
